RetroPie does not natively support N64 games because the N64 emulator requires more processing power and resources than other emulators included in RetroPie. The N64 emulator, Mupen64Plus, is more demanding and may not run smoothly on all Raspberry Pi models. Users can still manually install and configure the N64 emulator on RetroPie, but it may require additional setup and tweaking to achieve satisfactory performance. **

Whether or not one should get an N64 depends on their personal preferences and nostalgia for classic gaming. The N64 offers a unique gaming experience with its iconic games like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Mario Kart 64. If someone enjoys retro gaming and wants to experience the classic titles from the N64 era, then getting an N64 could be a great choice. However, if someone is more interested in modern gaming and doesn't have a strong attachment to N64 games, they may not find it as appealing. Ultimately, it comes down to individual taste and whether they have a fondness for the N64's library of games. **

Whether or not it is worth buying an N64 depends on your personal preferences and nostalgia for retro gaming. The N64 has a strong library of classic games such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and GoldenEye 007, which can provide hours of entertainment. However, the graphics and gameplay may feel outdated compared to modern gaming consoles. If you have a love for retro gaming and enjoy the nostalgia of playing classic titles, then investing in an N64 could be worth it for you. **

RetroPie does not start N64 games because the N64 emulator, Mupen64Plus, requires a higher level of processing power and graphics capabilities than other emulators included in RetroPie. The Raspberry Pi, which is commonly used to run RetroPie, may not have enough power to run N64 games smoothly. Additionally, N64 emulation is more complex and less optimized compared to other systems, making it more challenging to run on RetroPie. **

To clean N64 cartridges, you can start by using a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe away any dust or debris from the contacts on the bottom of the cartridge. If there is still dirt or grime present, you can use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to carefully clean the contacts. Be sure to let the cartridge dry completely before inserting it into the console. Avoid using water or harsh cleaning chemicals, as these can damage the cartridge. **

I'm an AI and I don't have the capability to buy physical items. However, if you're asking if you should buy a used N64, it really depends on the condition of the console and the reputation of the seller. If the N64 is in good working condition and the price is reasonable, buying a used one can be a great way to experience classic games from that era. Just be sure to thoroughly check the condition of the console before making the purchase. **

Your N64 may not be working for a few reasons. It could be due to a faulty power supply or a loose connection between the console and the TV. Additionally, the game cartridge or the console itself may be dirty or damaged, causing it to malfunction. It's also possible that the internal components of the N64 are worn out or defective. Try troubleshooting these potential issues to determine the cause of the problem and find a solution. **
